Ojibwe Makizinikewin (Ojibwe Moccasin Making)

  • Folk School Warroad 319 Lake Street Northeast Warroad, MN, 56763 United States (map)

Join us for this full day workshop to learn the traditional Ojibwe Moccasins making techniques.

We will review the book Grandmother's Gift as we learn about this tradition, patterns, and different styles of moccasins.

Using elk hide and beadwork, after choosing your size, at the end you will be completing your very own set of traditional round toe Ojibwe Moccasins.

We will meet from 10am to 5pm. There will be a break for lunch where you can go grab something or feel free to bring your own lunch and eat at the FSW.
