Peg Loom Weaving

  • Warroad Senior Living Center 1401 Lake Street Northwest Warroad, MN, 56763 United States (map)

Peg loom weaving is a simple, ancient form of weaving that is easy to learn and one of the most affordable ways to create woven materials.  With a basic loom, you can make several useful items like table runners, wall hangings, seat pads, rugs, blankets, scarves, and more. The types of materials that can be woven are nearly endless – yarn, cloth, twine, wool roving, plastic bags, and even salvage edges of material used for quilting, quilling, or rug-hooking.  No experience is needed.  Anyone can learn this primitive technique! Tools and material will be provided.
